![]() ![]() We enjoyed breakfast at Flannel each morning with friendly wait staff, food was hot and tasty, a bit pricy average $22 for a breakfast with coffee or juice per person. Roost has an awesome bartender, who made some good cocktails. They have twoTESLA destination chargers out front. THE HOTEL: The hotel is clean, staff friendly, Daniel at front desk was awesome. Also noticed a little musty smell coming from the heating unit, maybe it's because it was a pet-friendly room, all rooms on the first floor are pet-friendly. The rooms now feature a LavAzza coffee maker in the room, no more Keurig with Vermont Green Mountain Coffees, which I think were much better tasting. OUR ROOM: Our room was nice, King bed, roomy, nice bathroom with body wash etc. Top Notch needs to now make note of that additional fee on their reservation/amenities list for there is an extra charge for certain areas of the spa. The hot tub in men's relaxation room seemed to be down quite a bit during our 5-day stay, maybe they need to just replace it, I remember it being out of order during our last stay as well. ![]() They ended up giving us comped “passes”, basically adding the feature to our room keys to be able to enter the men’s relaxation/spa area. ![]() We asked the manager at the front desk and he’s only been employed since July 2019 and he told us it’s for “crowd control,” but we’ve never had an issue of it being crowded. That’s why we stay here, to enjoy all the "Top Notch" facilities. We were extremely taken back and very disappointed, even as hotel guests. But this 2020 trip we went to swipe our card to get into the men’s locker room and we found out you need to pay $20 per day / per person to enter the facilities which house a very nice relaxation room, showers, sauna, and steam room. NEW POLICIES: We’ve stayed at Top Notch Resort every January since 2018 and always have enjoyed the amenities, including the pool, hot tub, and spa facilities. ![]()
